Following a tremendous campaign in front of goal, Amy Woodruff has been named Leeds United Women’s Player of the Season for 2024/25.

The striker is a deserved winner of the prestigious award, following a superb term in front of goal which has seen the forward net 18 times in just 21 appearances in the FA WNL Division One North.

Having already enjoyed a stellar spell with the club previously, the Barnsley-born attacker rejoined the Whites at the start of the campaign, having taken time out of the game to welcome her newborn son into the world.

Since returning to the action, Amy’s tally of 18 has helped fire United to a fourth-place finish in the final league standings, as well as seeing her crowned joint-winner of the league’s Golden Boot award.

A strong and pacy attacker, Woodruff was at her deadly best in last weekend’s final fixture, grabbing a brace against rivals York City Ladies away from home, having reopened her account for the club with a header against Stockport County back in September.

Having fended off competition from a number of her teammates, Leeds United would like to congratulate Amy on a fantastic season with the club.

Congratulations Amy!
