2024/25 Player of the Year: Daniel James

Forward wins the award.

Dan James POTY

Leeds United are delighted to announce that Daniel James has been named Player of the Year for the 2024/25 season.

The accolade comes after a fine campaign for the Wales international, who has scored 12 times and recorded nine assists in 36 Sky Bet Championship appearances.

A standout performer across the division, the 27-year-old was also named in the league's Team of the Season at the recent EFL Awards.

The winger began the term strongly, notably scoring his first goal in the Yorkshire Derby victory over Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough and would continue to put in blistering performances game after game.

Arguably James’ finest display came in the Whites’ trip to Vicarage Road where two impressive strikes in Hertfordshire helped United to a 4-0 triumph over Watford.

A stunning finish at Luton Town proved crucial in the run in, alongside the winner against Middlesbrough in the following fixture, with a final appearance coming from the bench against Oxford United on Good Friday.

Following an outstanding season with the club, Daniel has been recognised with this award which was voted for by the Leeds United fanbase.

Congratulations DJ!
