Leeds United defender Gabriel Gudmundsson has been named in Sweden’s squad for their upcoming international fixtures this month.
The 27-year-old is set to join up with Graham Potter’s side as they prepare for two important UEFA Nations League encounters.
Sweden will first host Bosnia and Herzegovina in Stockholm on Saturday 14 November, with kick-off at 7:45pm, before travelling to Wroclaw to face Poland on Tuesday 17 November, also at 7:45pm.
Should he also be called up, Gudmundsson could face Leeds United teammate Tarik Muharemović, who represents Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the opening fixture.
Sweden currently sit top of their Nations League group, having won three and drawn one of their opening four matches.
They hold a two-point advantage over second-placed Bosnia and Herzegovina, who will be their next opponents.
The Leeds United full-back has established himself as an important member of the Swedish national team, having earned 32 senior international caps to date.
His most recent appearance came in last month’s 1-0 victory over Romania, and he will be hoping to add to his international tally during the November break.
