New signing Marius Zaliukas will be handed another chance to impress when the Development Squad travel to Barnsley on Tuesday (7pm).

The Lithuanian international will play his first game since putting pen to paper on a contract until the end of the season after making his debut as a trialist against Sheffield Wednesday last midweek.

The Oakwell trip will also see outings for Dominic Poleon, Luke Varney, and Danny Pugh as Neil Redfearn’s side look to progress in the new cup competition.

Poleon and Varney will form the strike force while Pugh will line-up in midfield.

The game takes place at Oakwell and the Tykes are charging just £1 entry which will be donated to Barnsley Hospice.
