Head coach Darko Milanič spoke on Tuesday afternoon ahead of United’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Reading and he says his squad are focused.

United face Reading on Wednesday evening (7.45pm) and the head coach says that he learnt a lot from his sides defeat at Brentford at the weekend.

“We are focused on Wednesday’s game,” said Darko. “We are motivated and we have had some good training sessions.

“I learnt a lot from the Brentford game.

“I now know the players a lot better and I know how it works in this league.

“I knew before that game that there will be no easy games. Wednesday will be the same, it will be another difficult game."

The head coach says that his United side must set the tempo on Wednesday and take the game to Reading.

“On Wednesday night we have to set the tempo and the dynamic of the game. We need to be aggressive," added the head coach.

“Reading play with a quick tempo and we have to have quick reactions, they also play with a lot of pressure.”
