International round-up: The final fixtures

An update on our players away with their country!

Brenden Aaronson

El Salvador 1-1 USA (CONCACAF Nations League)

It was a feisty encounter between El Salvador and the USA, as both teams ended the match with 10 players following a red card apiece. The Stars and Stripes rescued a point with a goal in the last minute in this CONCACAF Nations League match, which saw summer arrival Brenden Aaronson play for 45 minutes.

Rasmus Kristensen

Denmark 2-0 Austria (Nations League)

Our latest summer signing continued with Nations League action for his country, by playing the full 90 minutes for Denmark in the 2-0 win over Austria. The full-back has played in all four matches for his country during this international break - which has seen three wins secured from four games - meaning they are currently sitting top of Group A1!

Mateusz Klich

Poland 0-1 Belgium (Nations League)

A close match between Poland and Belgium saw this visitors take the three points at the PGE Narodowy Stadium, after a first half goal from Michy Batshuayi. Mateusz Klich came off the bench with 20 minutes remaining in the match, but despite his best efforts, the midfielder wasn’t able to help with a late comeback.

Dan James

Netherlands 3-2 Wales (Nations League)

It was a disappointing case of deja vu for Dan James and his Wales side in this Nations League match with the Netherlands. Just like in the home match against the Flying Dutchman, Wales scored a stoppage time equaliser, only to then concede and lose the game just seconds later! Dan James once again started the match, before leaving the pitch in the 70th minute.

Kalvin Phillips

England 0-4 Hungary (Nations League)

Kalvin Phillips started for England at Molineux and played the full 90 minutes, as his side faced Hungary in their final match of this international break. The Three Lions struggled to take any control during the match and were eventually well beaten, leaving them winless from four games over the summer.

Diego Llorente

Spain 2-0 Czech Republic (Nations League)

Spain are top of Group A2 after four matches, having played two and drawn two during this International break. Diego Llorente was an unused substitute in the match after playing 90 minutes last time out, but his side produced another good win by overcoming Czech Republic at the La Rosaleda Stadium in Malaga.
