Leeds United would like to wish Luke Parkin the very best for the future after the young striker departed the club by mutual consent on Thursday.
The 20-year-old, a regular fixture for the Under-21s in recent seasons, progressed through the ranks at Thorp Arch after first joining the club as a schoolboy.
His United contract was due to expire in the summer and he is now free to link up with another club.
In a statement posted on Twitter, Parkin said: "Today my 14 years with Leeds United Football Club has come to an end.
"I would just like to say I have met some unbelievable people that will be friends for life and I take away some amazing memories that will stay with me forever.
"I would like to thank all the staff over the years for making me the player and person I am today. I would like to wish all the boys all the best in the future.
"Now looking forward to the next chapter in my career."
