Darryl Ombang signs professional deal

Goalkeeper agrees terms with the Whites.

Leeds United are pleased to announce that goalkeeper Darryl Ombang has committed his future to the club, by signing a professional contract until the summer of 2024.

The towering goalkeeper joined the Whites at the start of the 2021/22 campaign and has impressed during his time within the Under-18s set-up at Thorp Arch.

Ombang has also represented England at Under-17 level, playing 90 minutes for his national side in a 2-0 win over Romania.

The 17-year-old recently began this season by playing for Michael Skubala’s Under-21s side in their impressive opening day Premier League 2 Division 2 victory, against Derby County at Pride Park.
