Wales international winger Daniel James joined Leeds United from Manchester United on deadline day, 31 August 2021, signing a five‑year contract. Known for his dazzling pace and relentless energy down the right flank, he’s quickly become a key figure under Daniel Farke.
Following a loan spell at Fulham in 2022–23, James returned to Leeds to spearhead their Championship campaign. In the 2024–25 season, he was outstanding - earning both the Leeds United Player of the Season award and a place in the Championship Team of the Season, as Leeds celebrated promotion.
A fixture for Wales since his senior debut in November 2018, James has accumulated over 50 caps and brings international pedigree and attacking verve to Elland Road.
