Tony Dorigo joined Leeds United from Chelsea in the summer of 1991 and made an instant impact at left-back. In his debut season he helped the Whites win the 1991/92 First Division title and was voted the club’s Player of the Year.
He also scored in Leeds’ 4-3 Charity Shield win over Liverpool at Wembley in 1992 and was named in the PFA Team of the Year (1992/93).
Across six seasons he made 209 appearances and scored 6 goals before leaving for Torino in 1997, remembered as a key part of the last Leeds side to be crowned champions of England.
