Leeds United supporter Joseph has been named National Young Advocate of the Year at the nasen Awards in Birmingham.
The youngster, who proudly wore his Leeds United tie at the ceremony, received the award in recognition of his work advocating for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The annual nasen Awards celebrate individuals, settings and resources that demonstrate exceptional dedication to creating a more inclusive future for children and young people.
Back in April, the club celebrated Joseph's achievements as part of World Autism Acceptance Month, highlighting his ongoing efforts to demonstrate that autism is not a barrier to success.
The 11-year-old, who was diagnosed with autism at the age of four, has dedicated himself to helping others understand the condition through his own experiences.
Joseph has previously been recognised by the BBC, winning the Make A Difference Award in the Young Hero category in 2025 for his efforts to raise awareness and improve understanding of autism.
He has written a series of books, titled 'The Adventures of Joseph and his Shadow', which explore his life with autism alongside his awareness dog, Shadow, and has also delivered talks at local school assemblies to share his experiences and promote greater understanding.
Everyone at Leeds United would like to congratulate Joseph on another fantastic achievement and his continued efforts highlighting autism and educating others.
