Robbie Cook has received an international call-up, with the Leeds United Academy goalkeeper named in Australia’s Under-19s squad.
The 19-year-old has been selected by Young Socceroos Head Coach Trevor Morgan as part of a 23-player group for the upcoming Australia–China Friendship Series, taking place during the March FIFA Men’s International Window.
Australia will face China in two matches at the Yiwu Meihu Sports Center Stadium in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, with fixtures scheduled for Saturday 28 March and Tuesday 31 March 2026.
The series represents an important step in preparations for the AFC U20 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifying tournament, which is set to take place between 26 August and 6 September 2026.
Cook joined Leeds United from Australian side Perth Glory in February 2025, and has continued his development within the club’s Academy at Thorp Arch.
The goalkeeper has made eight appearances for the Whites’ Under-18s this season, before earning his Under-21s debut on Monday evening, keeping a clean sheet in the 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
