Leeds United are proud to be supporting White Ribbon once more, the leading charity in England and Wales engaging men and boys to prevent men's violence against women and girls.
The White Ribbon is the globally recognised symbol to end this violence. Allyship is a central message of the White Ribbon, it represents men taking responsibility to challenge this issue and being allies, every day, to stop violence against women and girls before it starts.
We will be hosting a matchday stall on Saturday against Wolverhampton Wanderers outside the Pavillion. Members of the supporters' advisory board, White Ribbon Ambassadors and White Ribbon Champions from the Club and Leeds United Foundation will be handing out White Ribbon merchandise and speaking to supporters about the Club's initiatives and collaboration with White Ribbon.
The aim is to raise awareness and show our supporters that as a football club we are committed to creating an environment where people belong, where we call out inappropriate and/or harmful behaviour championing an environment that brings people together as one club.
We are passionate about championing White Ribbon and through the power of football influence positive change within our local community and wider society. We urge anyone who witnesses any abuse to report it. At a match, find the nearest steward or police officer, or text LEEDS to 60006.
