The match officials for Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship clash against West Bromwich Albion on Friday have been announced, with Matthew Donohue set to be the man in the middle.

This is the fifth season the Southend born and now Greater Manchester based official has been a referee in the second tier, having been promoted to the Select Group 2 list of referees ahead of the 2019/20 season.

Friday's match will be the first time Donohue has taken charge of a Leeds United fixture.

He last refereed West Bromwich Albion last season, in April's 2-2 Championship draw with Queens Park Rangers at the Hawthorns, where he issued one yellow card.

Donohue has this season refereed twice in the Sky Bet Championship, overseeing Plymouth Argyle's opening day win over Huddersfield Town and Hull City's victory over Sheffield Wednesday.

Last season Donohue refereed a total of 35 matches, issuing a total of 138 yellow cards and three red cards.
