Marcelo Bielsa has made one change to our starting line-up as we face Liverpool at Elland Road this afternoon following the recent international break.

Junior Firpo makes his way back into the Leeds United defence, joining captain Liam Cooper, Luke Ayling and Diego Llorente in the back line ahead of goalkeeper Illan Meslier.

Kalvin Phillips sits in midfield with Stuart Dallas who has recovered from his illness in time for the match, as Jack Harrison and Raphinha cover the wings - with FIFA confirming the Brazilian would be available to play in the game.

Rodrigo is also amongst the starting XI in support of our England international Patrick Bamford, who made his senior debut for country last week.

Deadline day signing Dan James makes the Leeds United bench for his first game with the club, and he is joined by Tyler Roberts, Mateusz Klich, Pascal Struijk, Jamie Shackleton, Charlie Cresswell, Crysencio Summerville, Liam McCarron and goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson.

The Whites saw out a 1-1 draw in the same fixture during the 2020/21 season, with Diego Llorente scoring his first and only goal for the club, heading home a cross from Jack Harrison.

Today’s game is scheduled to kick-off at 4.30pm and is being streamed live on Sky Sports, for those without access you can follow the live Leeds United blog online here.
