The Leeds United Foundation have a number of fans taking on the Great North Run on Sunday 10th September to raise vital funds that will support a number of their community initiatives.

The fantastic team of individuals who have opted to undertake the annual running challenge have been training hard for the past few months, whilst also raising money for the club’s official charity to support all of the work being done to help those who are most vulnerable throughout the city.

The Great North Run is one of the world’s most iconic half-marathons; the famous route takes you from the centre of Newcastle, through Gateshead to the stunning coastline of South Shields.

Everyone at the Foundation is incredibly grateful for all of the amazing fundraisers, they really do make a huge difference as we continue to use the power of football to enhance the lives of people through opportunities in sport, education and healthier lifestyles.

If you would like to sponsor the team and in turn help the Leeds United Foundation continue to educate, motivate, inspire and support people across the local Leeds community, you can make a donation on our official JustGiving page here.
