Leeds United hosted its first meeting with our new-look Supporters Advisory Board (SAB) on Tuesday night, with the new members welcomed at Elland Road.
Following an online application process, 11 new members have been officially chosen and welcomed as part of the club’s new SAB, and the new members were each invited to attend an initial meeting which was held in the first team dressing room.
Our new-look SAB features a diverse group of individuals that the club hope will represent the wider fanbase, helping to discuss key topics with staff members which they can then help to feedback to supporters and the various fan groups.
On arrival at Elland Road, the group which includes Nikki, Pete, Andrew, Maz, Lliam, Paul, Umair, Jay, Katie, Faatimah and Ken (who was unable to attend), were taken pitchside for photos where they could see each of their names on the LED boards with a special message for them on the big screen.
The introductory meeting included a warm welcome from CEO Angus Kinnear who also discussed Season Tickets for the 2022/23 season, with Head of Ticketing Katie Holmes and Head of Communications James Mooney also in attendance. During the meeting, the group were also able to speak to Katie with regards to the new ticketing platform that has been launched, SeatGeek, with a presentation shared detailing the huge benefits the new system will give to our supporters.
Thank you to everyone who applied to be a part of the Supporters Advisory Board, with the club receiving hundreds of applications.
Minutes from the meeting will be released later this week, and the next meeting with our new members will take place at the beginning of March.
