The Leeds United Supporter Advisory Board (SAB) have held their first meeting of the 2023/24 season at Elland Road, with the appointment of a new Chair to lead meetings throughout the current campaign.
Councillor Jane Dowson was chosen by our various SAB members and introduced formally to the group and club representatives at the recent meeting.
Those in attendance, including CEO Angus Kinnear via Zoom, Head of Media and Communications James Mooney and the club’s new Supporter Liaison Officer, Dips Mann, discussed a number of different topics – with the agenda chosen and put together by the SAB members.
Angus was on hand to give a general update around the club, including transfers ahead of the window shutting later this week, plans regarding the stadium and necessary improvements that have already been made and others that are being looked at.
Members also had queries around ticketing, including home and away ticket prices and supporter issues regarding online and digital tickets.
Other club and stadium areas were also covered in the meeting, such as Park and Ride and the recent announcement made around this for the season, as well as safety around Elland Road specifically regarding entry and exit on matchdays.
The SAB group also left an open invitation to board members Paraag Marathe and Rudy Cline-Thomas to attend a meeting in the future.
The next Leeds United Supporter Advisory Board will be held on Tuesday 26th September 2023, and moving forwards minutes from each meeting will be made available on the Leeds United website.
