• In Régis Le Bris’ first campaign on Wearside, the Frenchman guided the club to a Premier League return as they Black Cats triumphed over Sheffield United at Wembley to win the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs. The meeting of the sides at Elland Road proved to be a memorable one, with Leeds grabbing a dramatic last-gasp winner courtesy of Pascal Struijk.

One to watch:

• French striker Wilson Isidor netted 13 goals in all competitions in red and white last term as Sunderland won promotion to the top-flight. Having initially joined the club on loan, the forward made the switch permanent from Russian side Zenit St Petersburg in February. The 24-year-old has represented his country from Under-17 level through to Under-20s.
