After beating Huddersfield Town in the 2022 Championship Play-Off Final, Forest returned to the Premier League after a 23-year absence from England’s top-flight. Since then, the City Ground side have recorded 16th, 17th and 7th-place finishes.
Last season:
Competing for the European spots throughout last campaign, Nuno Espírito Santo’s team eventually finished seventh in the final standings, qualifying for the UEFA Europa Conference League. Former Whites’ striker Chris Wood top scored with 20 goals in all competitions.
One to watch:
Versatile attacking midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White was a standout in an impressive squad last term for Forest. The former Wolves man scored seven and assisted a further 10 in the Premier League, which lead to a first England appearance last September.
