Leeds United full-back Stuart Dallas spoke to the media following Friday’s defeat against West Ham United.
The Whites had taken an early lead through Mateusz Klich’s sixth minute penalty, but a goal in each half from the Hammers meant Leeds suffered back-to-back defeats in the Premier League.
Dallas gave his thoughts on the result and was disappointed with how West Ham scored both of thier goals.
“It’s a tough one to take,” said Dallas.
“We knew the threat they carried from set-plays and we’d worked hard on that all week coming into the game and that is how they’ve got their two goals.
“We’ve got to be better with how we defend it, we go man-for-man and you have to put a challenge in.
“If you can’t win it, you’ve got to make sure the player doesn’t make clean contact on it and unfortunately they’ve scored two from it tonight.
“They were a threat on the counter and we had quite a bit of possession again, but we just couldn’t turn it into a goal.”
