Leeds United’s versatile Northern Ireland international Stuart Dallas spoke exclusively to LUTV following Sunday’s victory against Norwich City.

Goals from Raphinha and Rodrigo secured Leeds United all three points at Carrow Road against the Canaries who sit at the bottom of the table.

The Whites have now taken four points from the last two league matches and sit on 10 points after 10 games.

Dallas who was given a magnificent ovation at the end by the travelling Leeds United support was delighted to get the win in Norfolk.

“We knew it was going to be a tough game,” said Dallas.

“Coming here, they’re fighting for their lives at the bottom and came off the back of a disappointing defeat and we knew there would be a reaction.

“I thought we started okay, we got to grips with the shape they were playing and we caused a few problems on the counter-attack.

“The first half was scrappy at times, but in the second half we had a lot more chances.

“We managed to get the goal, then we conceded straight away which was disappointing, but then we went up the other end got the second goal and it was about seeing out the game.

“On the pitch we felt comfortable, I thought we had a good shape defensively and when we broke forward we made sure we had numbers in defence.

“They didn’t cause us that many problems and as I said, on the pitch, in the end, it felt comfortable.

“It gives us a platform to build on now, there was a lot of pressure on us coming into the game, our start to the season hasn’t been good enough from the standards we have set ourselves and it was a must win game for us and we have come here and done that.”
