Kristoffer Klaesson paid a special visit to Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm recently to surprise youngsters with Leeds United themed Easter gifts.

The White’s goalkeeper was on hand with Easter Eggs and other gifts and took the afternoon to spend time with some of the children visiting the club’s official charity partner over the Easter holidays.

During the visit, Klaesson spent time supporting the kids with their activities around Lineham Farm, before answering plenty of questions around his life as a footballer and his life away from the pitch.

Speaking to LUTV during the visit, the 23-year-old said: “I’ve really enjoyed coming here today and meeting all the children and staff, to take a bit of time to help put smiles on their faces and help them with the different activities they were doing was really fun and it’s something I’ll always make time for.

“It was really clear to see how much the kids enjoyed their time at Lineham Farm, and the hard work that is put in to making sure they’re creating memories that they otherwise wouldn’t have.”

Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm work extremely hard throughout the year to brighten the lives of some of the most disadvantaged children in the city, offering them respite from difficult, and sometimes abusive, home lives. The aim during our partnership with the local charity is to not only promote the incredible work they are doing, but also to ensure these children can enjoy special experiences and create once-in-a-lifetime memories through meeting players and taking part in different events.
