Leeds United can confirm Sam Greenwood has joined fellow Sky Bet Championship side Preston North End, on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Greenwood joined the Whites in 2021 and has played 35 times for the first team, across all competitions.

In the 2023/24 campaign, the 22-year-old signed for Middlesbrough on loan for the season and played 38 times with the North East outfit.

Now making a temporary switch to Deepdale, everyone at Leeds United would like to wish Sam the best of luck during his time away from the club and we look forward to seeing his development.
