Leeds United forward Rodrigo spoke exclusively to LUTV ahead of Friday’s Premier League match with West Ham United.

The Whites are looking to bounce back from defeat at Chelsea last time out, welcoming the Hammers to Elland Road.

With games set to come thick and fast over a busy festive month, Rodrigo spoke about the prospect of playing five more games before the turn of the year.

“It’s an important part of the season,” said Rodrigo.

“The atmosphere in England at this time of the year with Boxing Day and everything is very nice.

“For us, every game is the chance to prove to ourselves that we are able to grow as a team and to win games.

“We are just focused on the next game as a final and I think that is a good way to look at the next few games.

“We are prepared, we have the mentality to face those games and have an ambitious plan to try and win every game.”

Friday’s opponents West Ham United sit three points above Leeds in the Premier League table going into the game.

Rodrigo revealed what he is expecting going into the fixture, explaining: “It will be a tough game, as are all of the games.

“We can see from the 11 games that we have played so far, that we didn’t have an easy game or a calm game.

“We are in a good way, we’ve proved ourselves, we came from the Championship, but we have more than the capacity needed to face every team.

“It will be intense as the Premier League games are, we will try to have the ball and be the offensive team and try to find the goal to win.

“We are focused on the next game, the last one is gone now, we just want to play the next game and do our best to win the game.”
