Leeds United recorded back-to-back Premier League wins for the second time this season, as goals from Anton Stach, Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin against Burnley made it six unbeaten in the league.

The Whites started on the front foot in the opening minute, with Okafor finding the head of Calvert-Lewin through a looping cross towards the back post, with the forward unable to direct his effort towards goal but to no breakthrough.

Moments later however, Leeds opened the scoring as Stach found himself in an abundance of space on the outskirts of the Claret’s penalty area before unleashing a precise left-footed strike into the bottom right corner!

Searching for a second, the German international dispossessed Bashir Humphreys before marauding towards the box, with the attack ending with Ao Tanaka blazing a volley over Martin Dúbravka’s bar.

Following a patient passage of play, Tanaka arrowed the ball into the path of James Justin down the left flank, with the fullback’s searching ball for Calvert-Lewin swiftly diffused by Dúbravka.

Down the other end, the visitors had their first attacking chance of the evening as Loum Tchaouna found space down the right, before Tanaka dispossessed the winger to reclaim possession and cease the attack.

Looking to build on Burnley’s earlier attack, Maxime Estéve ran through the centre of the pitch towards goal before Joe Rodon’s lunging effort put an end to the threat.

After regaining the dominant share of possession, Okafor fired a cross around Kyle Walker into the Burnley penalty area before Estéve’s attempted clearance hit the back of an unaware Justin, eventually falling into the hands of Dúbravka.

Searching for an equaliser, Zian Flemming won the ball off of Tanaka before setting the visitors on the counter attack down the right through Tchanoua, whose cross towards the back post found former Whites’ loanee Jaidon Anthony.

Unopposed in the area, the attacker's header hit the back of Flemming before Karl Darlow gathered to signal the end of the first half.

HALF TIME: Leeds United 1-0 Burnley

Daniel Farke’s side started the second half brightly, as a sharp link-up between Rodon and Jayden Bogle ended in the ball going behind for a corner, which was well-defended and cleared by the Burnley defence.

United's pressure paid off as they made it two early on in the second period, Calvert-Lewin’s back-heeled pass to Bogle enabling the defender to fire a cross towards the back post and Okafor converting past Dúbravka to double the advantage!

Shortly after scoring the second, Tanaka’s shot from the right side of the area was parried by the Clarets’ goalkeeper into the path of Calvert-Lewin for the England international to poke home for his 13th goal of the season!

As the game progressed, Whites' defender Bogle again created himself an abundance of space down the right, before permitting Stach to cross the ball towards the back post, forcing Kyle Walker’s header going behind for another Leeds corner.

Looking to get back in the game, Humphreys unleashed a strike towards goal, stinging the palms of Darlow before Pires tapped the ball into an empty net before being ruled out for offside.

Capitalising on their momentum, the visitors reduced the deficit through Tchaouna who fired the ball into the back of the net.

Not long after being introduced, Lukas Nmecha found himself on the end of a cross from Bogle but the forward was unable to put his header on target.

In the pursuit of a fourth goal, Brenden Aaronson found Calvert-Lewin down the right, before his cross towards the back post was left unanswered, leaving the ball to saunter to the feet of Dúbravka.

As the game neared an end, last week's goalscorer Sean Longstaff fired a corner into the path of Rodon, with the Welsh international connecting but heading the ball straight into the hands of the Slovakian goalkeeper.

Mike Jackson's side continued to chase the lead, as a low cross from Anthony towards Armando Broja left Darlow untroubled as he calmly collected to nullify the attack.

Shortly after, Thomas Bramall sounded the final whistle to round off an impressive performance under the lights at Elland Road, which edges United closer to securing their Premier League status for next campaign.

Attentions now turn to next week's encounter with Tottenham Hotspur as Leeds head to the capital looking to continue their strong run of form in the league.
