The match officials for Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship fixture with Queens Park Rangers at Elland Road on Wednesday have been confirmed, with David Webb set to take charge.
The Durham based official has been an EFL referee since 2008 and has taken charge of over 500 professional matches. He is part of the Select Group 2 list of referees and has been since the 2018/19 campaign.
Webb last refereed Leeds in September 2020, in a penalty shootout home defeat at the hands of Hull City in the Carabao Cup.
In total, Webb has taken charge of Leeds on nine previous occasions, of which the Whites have won on four occasions. In that time he has issued 12 yellow cards to Leeds players and awarded two penalties to Leeds and one for opponents.
Webb last refereed Queens Park Rangers in their 3-1 away defeat at Middlesbrough back in February.
He has taken charge of the R’s on 11 previous occasions, with the West London side winning just one game. Webb has issued 21 yellow cards to QPR players and one red card. He has awarded one penalty to them and five against.
Webb’s last match officiating was Hull City’s 1-1 home draw with Plymouth Argyle, which took place last Saurday.
