Leeds United will face rivals Manchester United away from home on Wednesday evening, in their latest Premier League clash.

The two will meet under the lights of Old Trafford in this 8pm kick-off, reigniting a long-standing rivalry which will see a competitive and hard-fought encounter.

Now under the guidance of Michael Skubala, Chris Armas and Paco Gallardo following Jesse Marsch’s departure earlier in the week, the Whites go to Old Trafford hoping to beat their fiercest rivals for the first time since 2010, which was an unforgettable FA Cup victory.

This is the first of two matches between the pairing this week, with the return fixture set to take place at Elland Road on Sunday. The original clash in Manchester was postponed in earlier in the season.

Coming into this one, Wednesday’s hosts have won 13 straight matches on home turf in all competitions, which has seen them move up to third in the league table and make the final of the Carabao Cup.

At the heart of that success has been the midfield pairing of Brazilian Casemiro and Denmark’s star midfielder, Christian Eriksen - who has seven assists this season. However, the duo will both miss the next few matches through suspension and injury.

The last win away from home in the Premier League for Leeds came at Anfield before the World Cup break, but more recently the side beat Accrington Stanley on the road in the FA Cup.
