A look ahead to Sunday's fixture.

Leeds United take on Crystal Palace at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon (2pm), looking to make it back to back wins in the Premier League this week.

Palace will arrive in West Yorkshire looking to do the same, under returning manager Roy Hodgson. His first game in charge saw him oversee an important win against Leicester City last weekend.

The Whites beat Nottingham Forest at home on Tuesday night. After going behind early on, goals from Jack Harrison and Luis Sinisterra wrapped up the points for Javi Gracia’s side.

From the last five games in the league, Leeds have won twice, drawn once and lost twice. Those points have seen the side move up the league table and going into the weekend, they were sat 13th - before results elsewhere on Saturday created movement.

The Eagles have struggled in 2023 and that saw them recently change manager, with Patrick Vieira departing. Their only league win of the calendar year came last weekend under successor, Hodgson.

Following results elsewhere over the weekend and wins for teams in the bottom half of the table a win for either side on Sunday could see them move as high as 12th. A draw could also see both teams rise in the standings.

Topping the scoring charts for Leeds is still Rodrigo. The striker has been in fine form throughout the campaign and is now back in contention for Gracia’s side following an injury lay-off, most recently scoring in the away win at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Palace’s top-scorer this season is Wilfried Zaha, with the ever-lively and tricky winger a well known problem. However, he picked up an injury in the win over Leicester last weekend, so it is yet to be known whether he will make the squad on Sunday.
