Leeds United Women are taking on Harrogate Town Ladies on Sunday afternoon, looking to progress into the semi-final of the 2021/22 West Riding County Cup.

The Whites have been in impressive form in the competition so far, defeating Bradford Park Avenue Ladies by a thumping 13-0 scoreline last weekend, to progress to this quarter-final stage.

Harrogate ran out comfortable winners themselves in Round Three, overcoming Ossett United Ladies by a 5-2 scoreline.

Town currently play in the North East Regional Womens Football League Premier, and they are in third place, having only lost once so far this season.

Emma Elliot is the top scorer for Harrogate and will have to be watched closely on the day, as she will be aiming to add to the eight goals she already has. For Leeds, Laura Bartup will be hoping to continue with her excellent goalscoring season, she has 15 in all competitions.

Dan O’Hearne’s side will be getting underway against their North Yorkshire opponents at the Rossett Sports Centre [HG 2 9JP] at 2pm. You can read about all of the action on leedsunited.com after the game, with reaction and highlights to follow on LUTV.
