The Whites head to Stamford Bridge for the first time in 16 years on Saturday (8pm).
Chelsea currently sit third in the Premier League and have also already secured qualification from the group stages in the Champions League, making it a good start to the campaign for the Blues.
On home turf, they have only won twice from their five matches played, most recently drawing 0-0 with London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur. Those two victories have both been emphatic though, with four-goal hauls against both Crystal Palace and Sheffield United.
Leeds have been enjoying their away trips of late. A disappointing trip to Crystal Palace was quickly forgotten with successful win away at Everton last weekend, which added another clean sheet and three points to an impressive tally. That’s now three wins and three clean sheets for the Whites on the road.
Chelsea summer signing Timo Werner started slowly but is now finding form in West London. Following a big money move this season, the striker now has eight goals for his new club, with four of those in the Premier League. His opposite number, Patrick Bamford, will be looking to stay ahead in the charts and add to the seven he has netted thus far.
In a final added twist to an already highly-anticipated game, football is preparing to welcome fans back and there is expected to be 2,000 fans in attendance on Saturday evening. Due to ongoing restrictions all of those spectating will be of a blue persuasion but the Whites will continue to do all they can for Leeds fans back home.

Team news
Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed that Diego Llorente is now fit following his summer arrival, however, the head coach envisages that he will need to play a game or two for the Under-23s before he is ready for a starting spot. Jamie Shackleton and Pablo Hernandez will still be missing this weekend.
Billy Gilmour, Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz have all recently returned to fitness for Chelsea. This means the club has no further injury issues going into this weekend’s match and Lampard has a number of options to choose from.

The key battle
Timo Werner vs Robin Koch
Having both played against one another in the Bundesliga last season and together for the German national side this year, they will be aware of each other’s qualities. Werner’s pace and power on the counter will be a threat for the hosts and Koch will be fully aware of this.
However, it won’t all be one way traffic, with Koch settling into life in the Premier League. The defender has been part of a backline that has kept three clean sheets away from home in five matches played so far and will certainly be looking to add another this weekend.
