Leeds will kick off their tour Down Under on Thursday at 7:45pm (AEST), which is 10:45am (BST), with this being the first game of the Queensland Champions Cup. The tournament is to be played across 6 days, beginning 14th July and coming to an end on the 20th.
The Whites will play both Brisbane and then Aston Villa, with the team who secures the most points from their games awarded the title in the inaugural competition.

Leeds began their pre-season friendlies on the 7th July against Sky Bet Championship outfit Blackpool, which resulted in a 4-0 victory for Jesse Marsch’s side with goals from Robin Koch, Rodrigo, Junior Firpo and Mateo Joseph.
The Roar haven’t played since the 13th May 2022, when they beat Western Sydney Wanderers 3-1, so they will now be looking forward to returning to action on Thursday evening.
The A-League team Leeds will come up against are well-known for their staggering record of an unbeaten 36 game streak. Despite it being completed back in December of 2016, the long-standing record still remains in Brisbane.

What has Jesse Marsch said, ahead of the match?
“I’ve watched Brisbane and looked at what we need to prepare for and we’re expecting a good match and a well-coached team. We’ve enjoyed having the team away together, being around the surroundings and enjoying what Australia has to offer. The people have been so welcoming, friendly and open and really excited to have us here, so overall it’s been a really good two days.”
