The Leeds United Foundation conducted a hugely successful summer programme for their various football camp initiatives with 2,200 youngsters participating in sessions across the six weeks.

Coaches from the club’s official charity were overwhelmed by attendance figures throughout the summer holidays on the Soccer Schools, Grassroots Camps and Multi-sport Camps, with thousands of young people getting involved and developing their skills.

Throughout the summer children were able to take part in various sport sessions, allowing them to keep busy, make new friends, improve skills and stay safe all within a fun and encouraging environment.

One of the participants from the Soccer School programme, said: “ I love coming to the Soccer Schools, they are so much fun and I’ve learnt loads of new skills. My coach is really fun, and I’ve made some new friends too.”

A parent of one of the youngsters involved, added: “ This is the first time we have attended any type of holiday club and it completely exceeded expectations. My little one loved it and it was great that every day they were doing something different and fun. We will definitely be booking on again in the next half-term.”
