The Group Stage for the 2025/26 National League Cup have been announced, as Leeds United Under-21s look to retain the title.
Scott Gardner’s side enjoyed a scintillating run in the inaugural competition last term, ultimately lifting the trophy after beating Sutton United away from home in the final.
The National League Cup pits Premier League 2 academy teams against National League opposition, with the young Whites drawn to face Boston United, Scunthorpe United, FC Halifax Town and Gateshead in Group D this time around.
The ties will be played away from home with three of the four teams being familiar opposition in the competition, after victories for Leeds over Boston United and Gateshead last season before a penalty shootout success over West Yorkshire neighbours FC Halifax Town.
Should the Whites finish in the top two of Group D, they will progress to the quarter-finals stage.
