Tarik Muharemović scored his second international goal as Bosnia and Herzegovina secured an impressive 4-2 victory over Romania in the UEFA Nations League.

The Leeds United defender started at centre-back and played the full 90 minutes at Bucharest's Arena Naţională, helping his side claim their first win of the Nations League campaign.

Armin Gigović had put Bosnia and Herzegovina ahead before Muharemović doubled their advantage in the 19th minute, heading home from a corner for his second international goal.

Daniel Bîrligea pulled one back for Romania before Haris Tabaković restored Bosnia and Herzegovina's two-goal lead before half-time.

Muharemović played a key role in the victory, making 60 touches and completing 36 accurate passes.

The 23-year-old also produced an impressive defensive display, recording a match-high 17 defensive contributions. He made two tackles, two blocks, nine clearances and four interceptions, while also making five recoveries and winning five duels.

The result leaves Bosnia and Herzegovina with four points from their opening two Nations League fixtures, following Friday's goalless draw with Poland.
