Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich spoke to the media following Saturday’s victory over Fulham.
Klich scored his second goal in as many games in Leeds’ first game back in the top-flight at Elland Road, netting from the penalty spot in the 4-3 victory.
The Poland international is delighted the Whites are now up and running in the Premier League.
“It’s a great feeling,” said Klich.
“We needed three points in a game like this, where the fans expect us to win especially at home.
“It was a tough game, we let them back into the game by scoring two goals and it was a nervous last 10 minutes, but we manged to win the game which was very important for us.
“We’ll have some video analysis and see what happened, we knew Fulham from last season, so we knew they could be a threat, especially with he likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic.
“Sometimes in football it is difficult to predict what will happen and they scored two goals they shouldn’t have scored, but in the end we won and it’s a big three points for us.”
Klich also spoke about the style of play of the Whites which has been heavily praised by supporters and pundits across the globe.
He said: “We’re going to play very attractive football for the fans and hopefully we will win games.
“We play very aggressive, very attacking football, we take a lot of risks and I think the fans will like it.”
