Poland head coach Paulo Sousa has named Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich in his squad for this summer's EURO 2020 championships.

Klich has made 35 Premier League appearances for the Whites this season, becoming the highest scoring Polish player in Premier League history on Saturday after scoring his fourth goal of the season.

In addition to his goals against Liverpool, Fulham, West Ham and Burnley, the Polish international has also chipped in with five assists, with the side currently sat in 10th position in their first season back in the top flight.

Klich is not expected to feature in the final two games of the season after Marcelo revealed in his pre-Southampton press conference that "we thought we could anticipate his holidays one week. He’s not injured. The evaluations that I make over the campaign are for the needs of each player, and in the case of Klich the decision I made was the most favourable one for him."

Poland kick off their Euro 2020 journey against Slovakia on the 14th June, before facing Spain (19th June) and Sweden (23rd June) over the following nine days. Klich could line up against fellow Leeds United teammates Rodrigo and Diego Llorente should they be selected for the tournament.
