Match-worn shirts from Leeds United’s 2-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers and tie against Millwall are available to be won as part of a raffle, with all proceeds going towards the Leeds United Foundation.
The shirts, signed by defender Jayden Bogle and winger Dan James, were worn during the Whites’ Remembrance fixtures against the two clubs, with a poppy printed on the front.
As well as wearing the special shirts in the clash with QPR, both sets of players came together in a moment of silence as the Last Post was played at Elland Road, after the teams’ captains had laid wreathes at the side of the pitch.
The money raised in the raffle will the support the Foundation’s ongoing work with armed forces veterans.
The Combat Café is a free weekly session that takes place at Elland Road exclusively for veterans, providing an opportunity to socialise and enjoy light exercise along with other activities. Every session includes free breakfast sandwiches and hot drinks to all attendees. More information about that can be found HERE.
To enter, fans must make a £10 donation to the club’s JustGiving page HERE. Supporters can enter as many times as they like, therefore one £10 donation equals one entry, and a £30 donation would equal three entries etc.
Make sure to include your contact details when prompted in order to be entered into the draw. Failure to do so will mean your entry into the raffle will not be valid.
Due to this being a prize draw, the donations will NOT be eligible for gift aid. Please do not tick the gift aid box. Entries must not be made by anyone under the age of 16.
The closing date for entries is 11:59pm on Saturday 30th November. The two winners will be posted on this page on the week commencing 2nd December, and asked to make contact with the club to receive their shirt. Please make sure you check back to see if you have been successful!
