Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media following Monday’s loss against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road.
The Whites suffered a second Premier League defeat of the season and the first since the opening day against Liverpool.
Bielsa was disappointed his side were unable to extend a three-game unbeaten run and felt his side could have taken something from the game.
“In the first half we should have established some differences and I think we created enough opportunities to establish a lead,” said Bielsa.
“In the second half the game was more even, but we had the sensation that we could unbalance them.
“We created less danger, but I don’t think they were better than us in the second half, I think they managed to neutralise our game.
“We weren’t able to attack as much and this always animates the opponent.
“The game was very hard, it was very physical and there were a lot of interruptions too.”
