Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media following Tuesday’s victory over Millwall.
The Whites fought from two goals down in the Sky Bet Championship to defeat the Lions 3-2 at Elland Road.
Bielsa was asked if his second half team talk inspired his players and gave his overall assessment of the game.
“It is not what I said (at half time) that made the change,” said Bielsa.
“Maybe the match looked a little bit strange, but it was a copy of all of our matches.
“There were a lot of chances to make three goals and the opponents goals were similar to what we are used to conceding.
“The end of the match was a little uncomfortable, there was no calm.
“But in both halves we created a lot of chances and we played well enough in attack.
“The match was more open in the second half, which made it easier for us to attack.
“The defensive shape of the opponent, they need to put in a lot of energy to make it work and after the minutes of the match, we found more spaces.
“When the opponent had to attack because they were losing, this also made the spaces even wider.
“The difference between the two halves was that in the first half it was more difficult to attack and in the second half it was easier as the minutes went on.”
