Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media ahead of Tuesday’s Sky Bet Championship fixture with Millwall.
The Whites are looking to get back to winning ways in the Sky Bet Championship at Elland Road under the floodlights.
Bielsa gave his thoughts on Millwall, who come into the match on the back of a good run in the league following the appointment of Gary Rowett as their manager.
“Millwall are an aggressive team, they know how to play,” said Bielsa.
“Each player has a specific function in the team and they try to do this to ensure the team plays how they want to play.
“The team is in a good moment, they have some important players, the right full-back, right winger, right centre-back, the left midfielder who is not going to play and the number nine.
“In my opinion they are the players who have more value, but don’t give importance to my opinion.”
Bielsa also gave an update on who will fill the void left by suspended midfielder Kalvin Phillips, how the break has helped and about new arrival Ian Poveda.
He said: “Ben White is going to substitute Phillips
“We have no other injuries, just White for Phillips.
“In preparation of Poveda, this break allowed us to have more time with him.
“Poveda is a winger who can play on both sides.
“He has the ability to cross and dribble, he is a fast player with a good switch of pace and a similar player to Helder Costa.
“Also we had time to recover the players like Jamie Shackleton and Tyler Roberts who needed more time.
“So this time has allowed us to have three more players, Tyler, Shackleton and Poveda.”
