Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media following Saturday's draw with Cardiff City.

The Whites surrendered a three goal lead at Elland Road, as Cardiff came from behind to draw 3-3.

Bielsa gave his reaction to the draw, which ended his sides seven game winning streak.

“It’s difficult to explain,” said Bielsa.

“The only explanation we can try, would be trying to value how we receive the three goals.

“The opponent arrived to our box with set-pieces, long throw-ins, crosses, corners and of course, we know this is an important fact in the Championship.

“The other point is we had three goals difference in the match, we scored three times and missed 10 chances.

“After we had another 10 situations that we should have finished with more danger.

“When you score three goals, though, you cannot criticise why we didn’t score five goals.

“We had moments in today’s match where we played our best football so far.

“But this is something different, this analysis.

“The question is how, with three goals difference, with one opponent who didn’t surprise us with their resources, unbalanced the match and drew.

“I didn’t see a nervous team on the pitch.

“One part of the season when the match was in the last part, I saw the team was a little nervous, but this wasn’t what happened.

“The team was calm and three-one, three-two and three-three our team was calm and in control, but clearly, we received three goals we cannot explain.”
