Leeds United can confirm goalkeeper Lucas Perri has joined Serie A side Torino on a season-long loan.

The shot-stopper joined the Whites from French side Lyon ahead of our return to the top-flight last summer and made 16 appearances in the Premier League, debuting in the campaign’s opener with Everton.

The Brazilian played an instrumental role in the team’s run to the Emirates FA Cup semi-final last term, notably starring in penalty shootout victories over Birmingham City and West Ham United.

Lucas’ professionalism during his time at Elland Road was exemplary and we wish him well during his time in Italy.
