The Whites will be looking to make it four matches unbeaten when they entertain Crystal Palace on Saturday evening, under the Elland Road lights.
The final outing on home soil of the year is certain to be an entertaining match and, previewing the encounter, Lucas Perri gave his thoughts exclusively to Premier League Productions.
“Palace is a very good team, has a very good coach, good structure and they are a very, very good side,” the keeper reflected, after a week of tough preparation on the training ground.
For the Whites, the Brazilian said: “It is important to keep steady, to keep the focus on what we can control.
“Chelsea, we had an incredible win. Then the game against Liverpool, then Brentford. It is always difficult going there and playing against Brentford, especially the way they play with set pieces and everything, the recent form they had in all matches.
“So, I think it was a precious point that we got from there and we need to keep doing it. It is incredible that we could show that it is not only at home, that even away we have this trait to fight back for our results.
“We are getting points in our last few games and that is what matters in this league.
“The atmosphere is incredible at Elland Road and we need to use this atmosphere, the fans, to bring more points with us.”
