Leeds United Academy midfielder Liam McCarron has been named in Scott Gemill's Scotland U21s squad for the first time.
The young Tartan Army side will face Lithuania on Tuesday 8th September (4:30pm) at the LFF Stadionas in Vilnius.
The UEFA U21 Euro Qualifier sees Scotland, who sit 3 points behind leaders the Czech Republic, looking to keep up the pressure on the top two in the hope of securing a spot at the tournament in Hungary and Slovenia next year.
The 19 year old who signed from Carlisle in July 2019, impressed for the U23s last season, racking up 18 appearances and scoring against Bolton and Hull, before the campaign was curtailed due to the pandemic.
