Leeds United are pleased to announce that construction of the new Legacy Stone installation 'Bielsa Place' has been completed.
Bielsa Place acts as a new phase of our Legacy Stone offerings, paying tribute to the legendary manager who guided us to our Premier League return. 1,777 stones have been placed in the new section on the East Stand, next to the reception area, and 673 supporter names also feature in the area.
Bielsa Place honours the man who brought belief, passion, and top-flight football back to Leeds United. This special area features a marble replica of the bucket, the very one he famously sat on while masterminding our return to the Premier League, as well as a stone silhouette capturing one of his most iconic images.
Bielsa Place was named alongside Howard's Way as the two new sections of Legacy Stones available for supporters to purchase to etch their names on to Elland Road, with the latter currently expected to be installed at the end of July to start of August.
Howard’s Way pays tribute to the man who lead us to becoming champions of England. A bespoke marble seat will stand proudly, etched with his achievements, alongside a stone silhouette of Howard Wilkinson lifting the First Division trophy, a symbol of glory, grit, and Leeds United pride.
All Legacy Stones are now sold out online. Thank you for your incredible support.
