Leeds United have teamed up with Fantasy Football Scout to help bring you hints, tips and advice during the 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season.
Scout will be using their expertise to provide advice and gameweek tips which should prove useful in ensuring you win your mini-leagues.
Fantasy Premier League is now live ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League season. Managers can login to the game on the Premier League App and Website to select their 15-man squad.
Ahead of the Gameweek 1 deadline at 18:30pm on Friday 21st August, FPL managers can make unlimited changes to their teams. Managers can own a maximum of three players from each of the 20 Premier League clubs.
Here are our three most popular players in the game heading into the opening weekend of the season.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£6.0m) is currently found in over 24% of FPL teams and is the ninth most popular pick in the game. The forward had a fantastic season last time out registering 142 FPL points from his 35 appearances.
Calvert-Lewin was the sixth highest scoring forward last season, with all five forwards who scored more points starting in more Premier League fixtures than the Englishman.
In the final two thirds of the season, Calvert-Lewin scored 13 goals and registered an assist. He ended the season in style with three goals in the final four fixtures and this form has continued into pre-season with three goals!
New signing Harry Wilson (£6.5m) scored 10 goals and registered seven assists for Fulham in the league last season before making the move to Elland Road for the 2026/27 campaign. Wilson’s 168 points last season made him the 16th highest scoring player in fantasy with only six midfielders registering more points.
Previously, Wilson averaged five points per start, averaging an FPL point every 16 minutes. Meanwhile, during the 25/26 campaign, Leeds created a chance more often that Fulham. FPL managers and Leeds fans alike will therefore be hoping that Wilson can make the most of that creativity by converting more chances.
Another new addition to the Leeds squad this summer was James Trafford (£5.0m). During the 2023/24 Premier League season, Trafford made 106 saves resulting in 26 save points for FPL managers.
The goalkeeper also only conceded 16 goals in 46 games during the 2024/25 Championship season, the fewest in the history of the Football League. With Leeds sitting fifth on the fixture ticker for the opening five matches of the season, Trafford could be an excellent option for managers between the sticks.
