Leeds United Women can confirm the arrival of much sought after striker, Hannah Freibach.

The forward rejoins the Whites having played for the club in a previous spell and will wear the number 19 shirt in the new campaign.

Freibach has an excellent goalscoring record during her time in the game and prior to leaving Leeds, she topped the scoring charts for the club.

The 31-year-old adds experience and firepower to an already strong forward line, which will in turn create competition for places ahead of the league starting this weekend.

After playing for Barnsley, Bradford City, Huddersfield and Brighouse, Freibach jumped at the opportunity to link back up with Dan O’Hearne’s side.

The manager gave his thoughts on his latest signing.

O’Hearne said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Hannah back to the club.

“She joins us at an exciting time with the season just getting underway, and I know she is looking forward to being back here.

“Three years ago Hannah was our top-scorer so we know plenty about her. She knows there is a lot of competition for places here and she will thrive off that.

“Hannah adds experience to the forward line and has an excellent work-rate, so is another good signing for the team."
