Leeds United has been part of Sohail’s life from a very early age, which also saw him working in the Elland Road store during his time at Leeds University.
Despite his global reach, Aime Dieu owner and creator Sohail Rashid said "I have always had the desire to work with my local club. Building a relationship with Leeds United and Aime Dieu has always been an aim of mine. There was no other team I was going to collaborate with."
Sohail created the brand, which means ‘Love God’, during lockdown and has combined his passion for fashion, together with his need to help the local community.
The brand's ‘pay it forward’ movement is there to help and support the local community, and for every item sold, Aime Dieu donates a pair of socks to homeless charity, Centre Point.
"The brand having a synergy with helping people locally is very important to me, be it in the form of socks or donating money to local homeless charities across Leeds and West Yorkshire.
"In the current climate, there are a lot of young people between the ages of 17 and 21 struggling with homelessness. The meaning behind my brand ‘Love God’, I think symbolises that we should all help out where we can."
The brand, which is loved by celebrities and footballers alike, is now available online and in the Elland Road store.
