Leeds United are proud to be supporting Forget Me Not Children's Hospice and their Colour Run, a 3km or 5km run on the 13th June 2026 where participants are encouraged to get involved to raise important funds for the charity.
Forget Me Not are a children's hospice that provide outstanding clinical care and emotional and physical support for families in West Yorkshire who are facing or living with the loss of their child. The organisation offer support tailored to each individual family and are constantly looking for new ways to support children and families and in doing so, make a difference that lasts a lifetime.
This year, Forget Me Not need £7 million to provide the vital care necessary for those who need supporting. Only a small proportion of those funds come from the government or NHS, so over 80% must be raised individually.
To raise funds, the hospice hosts an annual Colour Run - an activity-based 3km or 5km run that is perfect for families, friends, colleagues and teams to have fun, get messy and make memories. Participants can walk, job or run their way through an explosion of colour. With food stalls, refreshments, face painting, music and plenty of entertainment on the day, there is something for everyone to enjoy, even if they aren't taking part in the run itself.
Prices start at £20 for adults, £12 for children and Under-3s go free. Family tickets are £60, and those interested can take advantage of the early bird offer of 20% off by signing up early. To make the most of this colourful opportunity to raise vital funds to help support local children with life-shortening conditions and their families, the hospice would love each participant to raise at least £25 in sponsorship.
